Thomas Ma is a senior at the University of Illinois at Chicago studying economics and finance. As a student in college, he was actively seeking a career insight database, but had no luck. After collaborating with some friends, Career Podium was born. With Career Podium, Thomas is in charge of creating the questionnaire, reaching out to employers, and leading the team in implementing new strategies to improve the company.
Joseph Cruz graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Political Science. After graduation, he worked for Madison Street Capital as an investment banking analyst helping small businesses grow through capital funding and M&A
transactions. Currently, he is an analyst for Fifth Third’s debt capital markets group. Joseph understands how small companies succeed and fail not only operationally, but also from a managerial perspective. Joseph’s role as our Vice President is to provide an outside perspective on every aspect of the business, and to help on day-to-day operations.
Marc DeMory is a junior at the University of Illinois at Chicago studying Marketing and Information Decision Sciences. Marc brings a wealth of experience in web programming and digital strategy. Marc has a mixed professional background in business development, entrepreneurship, and business technologies. His role is to develop and maintain the Career Podium website, and to contribute strategies to help Career Podium better serve it's followers.
